    Our technicians will install your LittleBox within 30 days. If you have a self-install option, make sure to fit it within 15 days.

Is Black Box Insurance Right for Me?

 LittleBox telematics monitors your driving habits and other risk factors to calculate your driving score. A good score could mean lower insurance premiums at renewal.

You can drive whenever you want with LittleBox, but frequent late-night driving (between 10pm and 4am) will lower your overall score. If you often drive overnight, this may not be the best option for you.

Please note, if you consistently drive dangerously and have a poor score, we may have to cancel your policy.

Are there any eligibility requirements for LittleBox?

LittleBox is ideal for any safe driver looking to save on car insurance. Just make sure you meet these criteria: Your car must be worth at least £250 You should drive at least 1,000 miles per year Your car should be manufactured within the last 15 years

Can I drive my car before LittleBox is installed?

Yes, you can start driving as soon as your policy is active.

Does LittleBox track my location?

Yes, LittleBox does collect location data, but its main focus is on how safely you drive. This helps us offer you the best possible discount. We take a positive approach to car insurance and encourage our customers to enjoy driving.

How big is LittleBox?

Our device is roughly the size of a modern smartphone and is discreetly installed out of sight in your vehicle.

Is there a cost for installing LittleBox?

The first installation is free of charge.

Do you share my information with third parties?

We only share your data with companies directly involved in providing services under your policy, such as the telematics service provider. Your information is never sold or shared with anyone else.

What if my LittleBox Pod is causing problems?

Are there mileage limits with LittleBox?

When getting your quote, tell us your estimated annual mileage. Your premium will reflect this. If you need to drive more miles during the year, please inform us so we can adjust your coverage accordingly. A minimum mileage of 1,000 miles per year applies.

How is LittleBox installed? Do I need to visit somewhere?

We will get in touch to arrange your LittleBox installation at a location that suits you.

Who do I contact to reschedule my installation?

You’ll receive a contact number for our installation team, allowing you to easily rearrange your installation date.

Is there a curfew with this policy?

No, you’re free to drive anytime, day or night. However, frequent driving during higher-risk hours (10pm to 4am) can lower your driving score.

How do you know who is driving?

We don’t require you to specify who is driving at any time. Your driving score is based on the overall use of the vehicle, so all named drivers should be aware their driving impacts the score.
